TEST ENGINEER - STREAMING SERVICES

THE ROLE

We’re looking for someone keen to be hands-on with IoT, big data, and real time

streaming of events from our connected vehicles. We don’t expect you to know everything about all of the technologies we use, so you’ll work with other professionals inside and outside the organisation to learn and develop your skills.

While we are based in Covent Garden, this position may have occasional travel across Europe.

AS A TEST ENGINEER YOU WILL:

Conduct manual and automated testing of our services
Assist engineers with building testing into CI pipelines
Ensure good coverage of integration, API, and regression tests
Be keen to guide improvements in our testing processes
Work with other team members in an agile methodology (developers, devops, data-scientists, product managers)

REQUIREMENTS (WE DON’T EXPECT ANYONE TO HAVE ALL OF THIS):

Working experience developing test pipelines with Junit/JMeter/Cucumber
Knowledge of testing stream processing services based around Kafka
Familiarity with microservice test automation
Interest in designing test environments and strategies
Undertake performance testing and assist in identifying service bottlenecks
Some understanding of AWS services and managing those dependencies
Experience working with Swagger specifications
Broad development knowledge, REST APIs, TDD, Docker
